How much money will we make?

Hi. As you know, we spent the last few classes finishing up our Word books. And now that everyone is finished with it, today in class, we are thinking of ways to sell our book for good prices, but also in a way that we can get a good profit out of it. In order to figure out how much our book will cost in different ways, we went to http://www.lulu.com/en/?fLocation=/ On this site, we can choose from the many different ways we can publish our book. For example, what colour our book can be, what the paper size is, what type of book its going to be. There are four different types of books that we can choose to publish from.

1. The bind of the book. So like perfect bond, case, sudist cover etc.
2. What the colour is going to be. So either black and white or the whole thing in colour.
3. If we are going to choose hardcover or paperback.
4. The size of the page. So if you want it normal size, smaller or bigger.

Each one combined together will come up with a different price. For example, if we make our book hard cover and in colour, it will cost us approximately 15-30 dollars. And if that is the case, then we are going to have to sell them for more, and we have doubts if people will actually pay that much for a book made by high school kids. So we are looking towards a reasonable price, both for us to pay and the people who will be buying them. We have to work more with how we are going to make it, who we want to sell it and advertise it, and many more. Although we don't have a lot of time left because it takes a while to publish them and then actually get people to order them online. So we are all working on it! =]

Also, Sanjida and I are responsible for the Frequently Asked Questions section. We have to go around asking teachers about the difficulties they face when they are working with Word. Then we come up with questions and answers for our book.
Everyone is working very hard on making this book the best, under a tight schedule, but I'm sure that it will turn out really good.

That's it for today,
Bye.
